So many changes; moving is always a lot of work, but rewarding. There are boxes everywhere to go through and find a place to put things. The animals, cats Jack and Jill and dog G.G, are getting used to the new surroundings and have stopped hiding under the beds.
Now, it’s time to start settling in and getting to know people and the town. It is different from where we last lived – Katy, TX. I do not miss all the traffic. The other day, Dianna and I were going to Brookshire’s and I looked at the clock. I realized that it would have been rush hour in Katy, but there was almost no one on the road. What a joy that was! The service at the store was truly a joy. It is easy to get to like things like that. It is easy to adjust to things like that.
This summer, when you are not traveling, I would love to see you all in Sunday service. We can praise the Lord together.
Next month, I will be starting Bible Studies during the week. Any suggestions concerning time and day would be appreciated. My tentative plans are to do a daytime and a night time study. I will also be conducting the same study at Cornett.
God’s grace be with you,
Pastor Bill Laubenberg

If your organization or committee has an event to be held at or sponsored by the church, please call the secretary’s office at 903-639-2131, so it can be placed on the calendar, in the bulletin and in the newsletter.
This will help prevent double bookings at the church.
We will be glad to include a listing of your church meeting or activity in the newsletter, but remember that Debbie must have the information before the first of the month in order to have it in the newsletter.
