Gods blessings be with you.

Aren’t time changes so much fun? Either you find yourself getting places an hour early, as happens in the fall, or you’re an hour late. This spring time change of moving ahead an hour is my least favorite. I like gaining an hour of sleep a lot more than losing one.

As this week is spring break, our two different youth groups will not be meeting this week. I hope the students enjoy their week off from school this week and come back to school next week refreshed and rejuvenated. If you are traveling this week, please be careful and return home safely.

Lent seems to be rushing by this year. Remember that Holy week is the last week of this month. We will be having night services on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, both will be at 6 p.m. The children’s Easter egg hunt is scheduled for Saturday the 31st at 2 p.m. You can donate candy to give out to the youngsters. The containers to leave them in are in the back of the church. Please remember that the candies need to be of a size to fit in an egg. Easter Sunday is the first Sunday of April. Cornett invites you to come to the sunrise service at the pond across from where Hall’s store used to be, time is at 7 a.m. The Sunday after Easter, the choir will be presenting their Easter cantata during the worship service. Please come and enjoy the singing of God’s praise and Jesus love. The choir has been working hard to get ready for the day.

This week come and share the Lord’s Day together here at First United Methodist. If you are unable to attend, remember that the service is streamed on our Facebook page, but we would love to see you here at service.
