Greetings in the name of the Lord.

The evening hanging of the greens service was the start of a fun night. First, we finished the decorations of the church, being reminded of the reason the different elements are used and their meanings. Then we got on board the hayride for a round of caroling. We were blessed with very good weather for the ride and fun was had by all. We caroled down different streets, even singing as we went by the Baptist church. It was fun to see people coming out to see and hear us as we went by. Then there was the true joy of stopping by the homes of members that are not able to make it to church every Sunday. They were very appreciative. Finally, we returned to the church for cookies and hot chocolate. Thank you to Cody for being our driver and getting the trailer ready for us. Thanks to all who shared their voices and gave of themselves and their time. Thank you Nita for the cookies and hot chocolate. I think we now have a new tradition to celebrate each year.

Do your best to stay off the naughty list and remember the reason for the season, Jesus.

See you in church.
